Dr. Kathryn Johnson Cottone is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who joined Skyland Trail in 2024. Her clinical interests include trauma, mood disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, Autism, psychoanalysis, and attachment-based disorders. She is a professional member of Emerging Leaders of Children, the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, and the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Cottone received her B.A. in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine, completing her residency at Emory University School of Medicine.

In recent years, Dr. Cottone has pursued psychoanalytic training at Emory and has plans to pursue more functional medicine training.
