Skyland Trail Associates Announce Leadership and Plans for 2025

ATLANTA– The Skyland Trail Associates have announced details of 2025 leadership, upcoming events, and plans for the upcoming year. The Skyland Trail Associates are a group of women community leaders dedicated to combating mental health stigma and increasing access to care through community-centered philanthropic and educational events.

New volunteer leadership for 2025 was announced at the fall Associates meeting. Juanita Markwalter and Nola Stull will be the 2025 Associates President and Vice President, respectively. Markwalter previously served as 2024 Vice President.

The 2025 Skyland Trail Associates Spring Luncheon will be held on March 14. Guests will enjoy lunch and a keynote presentation on mental health. Kevin Hines will present at the 2025 luncheon, sharing his mental health journey of survival and hope. Information on Kevin Hines and his story can be found here.

Generous Atlanta-based businesses sponsor the luncheon and contribute to the event’s success. Each year, the funds raised from the Associates Spring Luncheon are directed towards campus or service improvements at Skyland Trail.

Funds raised through the 2024 Associates Spring Luncheon have been earmarked to improve communications technology for the admissions department in 2025. This upgrade will streamline admissions processes and improve communication efficiency to allow admissions to respond to an increased inquiry volume.
