Skyland Trail Adult Program In-Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield
Atlanta, GA – The adult residential mental health treatment program of Skyland Trail, a nationally recognized nonprofit psychiatric treatment organization, is now in-network with most plans offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. Effective March 1, 2020, Blue Cross Blue Cross Blue Shield provides in-network coverage for Skyland Trail adult treatment programs including residential treatment, day treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment.
Blue Cross Blue Shield joins Cigna, Aetna, and Magellan in helping adult clients and families cover a portion of treatment costs in residential services. The Skyland Trail admissions team works with in-network insurance providers to secure authorization before admission into treatment services.
The cost of treatment reflects our evidence-based individualized therapies, expert multidisciplinary treatment team, holistic hands-on and expressive therapies, integrated nutrition and healthy living activities, and respectful facilities. Costs vary depending on the level of care required and the number of days needed to complete treatment. Over an average three to four month treatment stay, most clients use some combination of private pay and insurance benefits to cover the costs of program fees and professional services. Through generous donors, Skyland Trail is also able to offer financial aid to clients and families who meet need-based criteria.
Skyland Trail provides up-front financial counseling for each client and family. Financial counselors help clients and families estimate their overall financial responsibility as part of the admissions process.
