Beth Finnerty Joins CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion
Atlanta, GA – Beth Finnerty, Skyland Trail president & CEO, recently joined CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion, a group of more than 2,200 other CEOs who are committed to rallying the business community to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. As a member of the group, each CEO commits to take specific actions to cultivate a trusting environment where all ideas are welcomed and employees feel comfortable and empowered to have discussions about diversity and inclusion.
Each member pledges to:
- Continue to make workplaces trusting places to have complex, and sometimes difficult, conversations about diversity and inclusion.
- Implement and expand unconscious bias education
- Share best—and unsuccessful—practices
- Create and share strategic inclusion and diversity plans with respective boards of directors
“I look forward to working with the senior management team, Diversity Equity and Inclusion committee, and all Skyland Trail employees as I take these steps to help Skyland Trail advance diversity, equity, and inclusion values in all that we do,” said Finnerty.
