How do I know what my TRICARE East plan covers for mental health treatment programs?
How quickly can you provide an estimate of benefits and costs?
How much does it cost to verify my TRICARE East benefits and begin the admissions process at Skyland Trail?
Our admissions team will request preauthorization for the admitting level of care from Humana Military / TRICARE East. Usually preauthorization is requested on the day of admission. Please note that authorization is not a guarantee of payment. In all cases, the initial benefits estimate you receive is based on the expectation of coverage and estimated payment by TRICARE East for the costs of treatment. The actual amount owed by the financially responsible party will depend on the payments Skyland Trail receives from TRICARE East and may vary from initial estimates. All fees and financial obligations are ultimately the responsibility of the financially responsible party. We will make every reasonable effort to obtain payment from contracted insurance companies; however, if the insurance company does not pay Skyland Trail the cost of treatment, the financially responsible party will be billed for outstanding amounts due.
