Amber Art By James
Jeffrie St James

Skyland Trail adult graduate, James, is an artist. James Jeffries created this image of Skyland Trail adolescent graduate, Amber.

Raised in the Lithonia area of Metro Atlanta, James Jeffries found his passion for art while obtaining his degree in engineering. He began painting on clothing for fashion shows and private clients, blending his technical skills with creative expression, which earned him the moniker Jeffrie St. James.

His early work laid the foundation for his distinctive urban tribal style, which fuses urban and hip hop influences with African and indigenous-inspired markings. During a transformative period as a client at Skyland Trail, he discovered the therapeutic aspects of creating art, deepening his passion and commitment to his craft.

Over the years, his art has been featured in numerous art events around Atlanta and Miami. James has designed clothing and accessory brands, utilizing both handmade techniques and digital media. His work is a vibrant tapestry of cultural influences, reflecting his unique aesthetic and personal journey.
